Day 1
This should be some kind of intro, since its this blog's 1st entry.
 
Basically the blog consists of site information, change notifications, and random thoughts not worthy for the frontpage .
 
It's an experiment, and I really hope it does not end up burried because  of free time constraints. I was almost forced to start a blog, since everybody has at least one.
 
So.....
 

What's this site about?

The project aims to offer both free and paid(cheap) mobile phone software resources. For now we only offer paid ringtones and other downloadable items. Yes, you've seen this before. "Free download",  "Get it now", and then  "Give me your money".
Well...if all goes well freely available stuff will be here for you to download sometime.
 
The items get sent directly to your phone, no data cables or additional software is needed. 
Some of the items are sent using WAP push messages, and require correct WAP settings on your terminal. 
 
Needless to say this is a very young website (the "Day 1" title may suggest this, too). Of course most of the stuff written here will be about the website evolution, and interesting things regarding mobile phones and technology.
 
Today (06/23/2006) a new download category was made available. It's called name tones.
I think these ringtones worth being mentioned here for 2 reasons: they're pretty cool to have on your mobile, and they're a nice source of baby names for those who lack determination and inspiration. I realized this is a baby name database(although this was not the initial intention) when I was browsing the name ringtones and I saw the huge count:over 8500. 
 Cover tones are also available starting this day, but IMO Name tones really rock.
