SONG is no longer J5...Crash by 12 Stones.... Pause this video to read instructions if needed. Some .avi files will work in Vegas just by the downloading and activating of codecs...you will want to use gspot(see link below)to make sure that your codecs are installed before trying this...however, if the fourcc is not accepted by Vegas, then the codecs won't help. I use a Samsung MX-10 and the fourcc is SEDG (Samsung MPEG-4)...here is a simple and quick way to turn it to DIVX so that Sony Vegas will import the video as well as the audio...I give all credit to the solution to some guy on creativecow.net...even though they had a different problem than me, the same solution worked for me...
