It's really nice piece of good house music!!! Tiga is the stage name of Montreal-born DJ/producer Tiga James Sontag (born 1974). His album Sexor won the 2007 Juno Award for Dance Recording of the Year. Sexor shows a very interesting mixture of styles that are evident from the artist's experiences and influences. His early acid house and techno days are evident on the album and are similar to Derrick May and Kevin Sanderson type of sounds who were the pioneers of Detroit techno. At the same time, Tiga manages to combine this with a Donna Summers type of disco feeling to create a dance and listen friendly album. He uses 4/4 kicks in most of his songs and sometimes employs a 2 step break beat. Almost all of the songs on his album have vocals that are generally very positive, love, and party oriented.
