Don't was recorded on September 6, 1957, I Radiate Recorders, a little after Elvis to have finished recording Silent Night. This was the first session that contained a feminine voice (Millie Kirkham). Twenty-six takes were recorded; the take 7 was the chosen to throw.Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller wrote Don't at the request of Elvis. Thank.
