For now, I'll just call him my frenemy. We stepped inside my house. My parents were out of town for the week so I was left home alone.* Kevin: whoa, I haven't been here in forever. Rosalie: gee, I wonder why. Kevin: (turns to her) could you just drop it?! Rosalie: (rolls eyes) whatever. let's just start on the project. *I grabbed my laptop and brought it downstairs to the kitchen. I was researching some ideas. It was strangely quiet. too quiet...* Rosalie: (staring at the screen) Kevin, did you think of any good ideas? (no response) Kevin. Are you gonna answer me or what? Kevin! (looks up) oh great, where did he go now. (gets up and starts looking for him. she finds him in her room) what are you doing in here?! you're supposed to help me look for ideas! do you want to fail? do you want ME to fail?! Kevin: chill out. i was just taking a break. Rosalie: well breaks over. let's go. (grabs his hand and tries to drag him out but he won't budge) well, are you coming? Kevin: you're holding my hand. (grins reeeaally big) Rosalie: (let's go and straightens up her shirt) oh uhmm, right. yeah let's just go. (walks out quickly) Kevin: whatever you say. (smiles again and then follows her back into the kitchen) Rosalie: now sit. Kevin: ehh, no thanks. i'm gonna see what movies you have. (heads to the living room) Rosalie: KEVIN! UGHHHH! (follows him and sees him watching Fool's Gold) turn it off right now. Kevin: come on. sometimes a little procrastinating helps. just relax, and enjoy the movie. Rosalie: how are we ever gonna get this project done by next week if we start to procrastinate now?! we need to create a mineral and all you can do is sit here and watch Fool's Go-(thinks for awhile) that's it! we'll make pyrite! Kevin: uhhh, come again? Rosalie: fool's gold. Kevin: ohhhh, right. see, look where my procrastinating got us. if it wasn't for me, we never would've gotten this idea. Rosalie: what are you talking about? it was all my idea. if i didn't know that fools gold was a mineral, we'd be exactly where we were in the beginning of this project. Kevin: actually, if you didn't give me another chance, i wouldn't be here right now, which means no idea for you. Rosalie: well if you were never a jerk in the first place, we would've been still best friends today! Kevin: ouch. you got me there. Rosalie: see, i always win in arguements. Kevin: you know, you are the most confusing and complex person ever. Rosalie: what's that supposed to mean? Kevin: it means, that i'm gonna be the first one to figure you out all over again. Rosalie: what? you're little atom sized jock brain can't remember about me?Kevin: no. it's just this time, you're gonna end up with me. Rosalie: as best friends again? ha, i don't think so. Kevin: wrong again. this time, you're gonna end up being MINE. and until then, i'm gonna do whatever it takes to win you back. Rosalie: oh really? is that a threat? Kevin: (gets close about 2 inches away from her face) baby, it's a promise. ---------------------------------- credit the last line to jonaswriter. :) your comments are really fun to read. but you could at least make them longer instead of just saying "hurry up!" or "loved it more now!" we really want to know what you guys truely think.
